The Minster Challenge takes place in Axminster on 29 March 2026, organised by Ruby Red Running in association with Axe Valley Academy. The event uses routes around the town and surrounding fields. The course includes hilly and muddy sections. Medals are awarded to all finishers and refreshments will be available.

Entry, age and facilities

Age requirements: the 12km is open to participants aged 17 or over on the day, the 5km to those aged 12 or over, and the 3km is open to any age. Entry fees: 12km affiliated £12, non affiliated £14; 5km affiliated £5, non affiliated £7; 3km affiliated £1, non affiliated £3.

Race headquarters is at Axe Valley Academy, Chard Street, Axminster EX13 5EA. There is limited on-site parking and multiple public car parks in the town. Axe Valley Academy will provide hot drinks and cakes for sale. LED Leisure has offered showers, changing rooms and a sports hall area for bag drop in exchange for a donation to Hospice Care.
