The event offers three courses: a 12 km route for participants aged 17 and over, a 5 km route for those aged 12 and over, and a 3 km fun run suitable for any age. The 12 km and 5 km routes are described as hilly and muddy.

Facilities and Logistics

Event facilities include toilets, a bag drop, first aid, and a water station on the 12 km course. Showers are available at the nearby leisure centre for a small donation. Limited parking is available at the school on a first-come, first-served basis, with several public car parks within a 5-minute walk. Car sharing is encouraged. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association.

Course Notes

The trails may be slippery with mud, roots, and stones. There are river crossings and road crossings, though marshals will be present at road crossings. Participants are responsible for their own safety. Trail shoes are highly recommended. The event is cupless, so runners are asked to bring their own collapsible cup if possible.
