A half-mile climb on West Church Hill reaches the highest point near the halfway mark, after which the course descends back toward the distillery, retraces parts of the route, and finishes with a downhill along the Shepaug River before a turn onto Mine Hill Rd.
Logistics, aid and awards
Three aid stations will provide water and electrolyte drink. The event is cupless; participants must carry their own bottle, pack, or cup. The refund policy states no refunds and no transfers of registration or bibs. All finishers receive a finisher medal and finisher award; additional awards include sponsor swag and top-3 overall male and female awards. Rules and safety
Organizers require following the marked course, no littering, and that entries are not transferable. Much of the course is open to traffic.
