Course and race details

The route is a mix of path and trail running, described as undulating. The course is dog friendly and generally ok for buggies, although some sections can be bumpy or muddy. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs. The 5 km route is one lap and the 10 km route is two laps. Chip timing is used for all races; participants receive both gun time and net time and instant results when they cross the finish line. Placings are based on gun time.

Practical information

Race packs are collected at registration; participants receive a race number with chip, safety pins and a finisher headband. Bag storage is available next to registration under manned gazebos with limited space. Toilets are located in the event hub. Parking within the park is limited; additional parking is signed at the Eco Park (postcode MK15 0DT), at Willen Lake (pay and display) and about 50 spaces on Livingstone Drive. Drinks and sweets are provided at the finish line. Medals are awarded to finishers and additional bonus medals are given for categories such as best dressed and fastest Mo. Trail runs nearby

Tackle 26.3 miles around Colworth Estate with five scenic laps of gently undulating trail and lanes, including woodland paths and narrow sections. Friendly club facilities, cup free so bring your own bottle, 30 November in Sharnbrook.

Run a scenic 10 mile trail around Grafham Water, weaving through woodland, Dragonfly Pond and Sanctuary Bay before a final mile along the dam wall. Canicross runs in a separate wave so you can bring your dog on a lead.
