Millstone Trail Races - Fort Mill, SC
The event is the Millstone Trail Races, the 2027 rebrand of the Mill Stone 50K, held at Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, SC. The 50K will be run as two 15.5 mile loops. A new 25K replaces the previous 10 mile option. A 10K and a kids run are also planned.

The course is on private greenway land and is almost entirely single track with technical footing, plus some gravel road and dirt trail. There will be few creek crossings, with the possibility of more depending on weather, and the course is likely to be muddy. Bridges that were previously damaged have been replaced and the course map has been updated on Caltopo for real time navigation.
Aid stations are planned at the start/finish and at intermediate points, with additional fluid only stations. An aid station near bathrooms and water is marked on the map. Runners are asked to carry at least one water bottle.
A preview run of the Millstone Loop is scheduled for July 11, 2026, with daily use fees waived for attendees as they are on race day. All participants in the 50K and 25K will receive race swag; 10K entrants may purchase swag at a discounted price. The last day to guarantee swag sizes is mid January 2027. There are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals for any reason. In severe weather the facility may close and organizers may attempt to move to a makeup date, most likely the next weekend.
