Millstone Trail Races

The Millstone Trail Races take place at the Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, SC. The event rebrands the previous Mill Stone 50K and keeps the 50K distance as two 15.5 mile loops on the Greenway. A new 25K replaces the former 10 mile race. A 10K and a kids run are also planned.

The course is on private green space and is not paved. Most of the route is single track technical trails with some gravel road and dirt trail. There will be few creek crossings and the course may be muddy depending on weather. Bridges that were previously damaged have been replaced and the updated course uses the new bridges.

Course maps will be provided on Caltopo for real time navigation. The primary aid station will be near bathrooms and water at the 7/5 mile mark; additional aid is planned at roughly the 4 and 8 mile markers and at the start and finish. Runners are asked to carry at least one water bottle. Aid stations will include typical ultra food and fluids.

Registration prices increased for this year; all in fees and current pricing are shown on the registration page. Mid January 2027 is the deadline to guarantee swag sizes. There are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals. Awards will include overall male and female prizes for the 50K and 25K and a custom medal for 50K finishers. The event will be held rain or shine unless facility closure forces a makeup date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
