Millstone Trail Races - Fort Mill, SC
Scheduled for February 6, 2027, the Millstone Trail Races are a rebranding of the Mill Stone 50K held at Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, SC. The 50K will run as two 15.5 mile loops. A new 25K option replaces the previous 10 mile race. A 10K and a kids run are also planned.

The course is almost entirely single-track and technical, with some gravel road and dirt trail. There are few creek crossings and the course will likely be muddy. The venue is private green space in the suburban Charlotte area and is not a groomed or paved urban greenway. Bridges that were previously damaged have been replaced and the updated course map is available on Caltopo.
Aid stations are planned approximately at the 4 and 8 mile markers and at the start and finish; the 8 mile station will be fluid only. Runners are asked to carry at least one water bottle. Course maps and pace groups will be provided, and a preview run of the Millstone Loop is scheduled in July 2026.
Entry fees will increase for 2027 and registration pages show all in prices including taxes and fees. Registration closes February 3, 2027. All entrants should note there are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals. 50K and 25K participants receive race swag; 10K runners may purchase swag. Awards will be given to overall male and female finishers in the 50K and 25K and 50K finishers will receive a custom medal by a local artist.
