Millstone Trail Races
The Millstone Trail Races are held at the Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill, SC and are organized by Mill Stone. The event includes the following distances:
- 50K : two 15.5 mile loops on the Millstone Loop
- 25K : new option replacing the previous 10 mile race
- 10K
- Kids run
The course is in a private green space and is not a groomed urban greenway. It consists mostly of single-track technical trails with some gravel road and dirt trail. There will be few creek crossings, with the number depending on weather, and the course may be muddy. Bridges that were previously damaged have been replaced and are incorporated into the updated route.
Aid stations are placed on the course and at the start/finish; one aid location is near bathrooms and water as marked on the course map. Runners will be asked to carry at least one water bottle. Course maps and real time navigation are provided via Caltopo.
Entry fees have increased for 2027 and registration shows all-in prices including taxes and fees. Registration closes on Wed, Feb 3, 2027 at 7:00 PM ET. Swag is included for 50K and 25K entrants; 10K participants may purchase swag at a reduced price if available. Packet pickup and early preview runs are announced separately. No refunds, transfers, or deferrals are allowed. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers for the 50K and 25K, and 50K finishers receive a custom medal made by a local artist.
