Miles For Mutts 5K - Newburgh

Miles For Mutts is an annual run and walk that benefits the Warrick Humane Society. The course begins and ends at the Warrick Humane Society facility in Newburgh and follows the Warrick Trails for a 3.1 mile run or walk.

The event offers timed and un-timed 5K options. Un-timed participants start with the same field on the same course but do not receive a race bib or timed results. Early registration through September 1 guarantees a soft ring-spun t-shirt in the registrant's size. Registration from September 1 through September 30 carries a higher fee, and fees increase again from October 1 onward.

Additional event features include a pet bandana option for $10, awards for the top five male finishers and top five female finishers, and an award for first place dog. The Warrick Humane Society also lists donation options tied to merchandise: a $30 donation provides a long-sleeved Miles For Mutts t-shirt with possible color and size limitations, and a $50 donation provides a double-walled vacuum insulated tumbler. The run and walk are open to both people and pets and take place at the Warrick Humane Society, 5722 S Vann Rd, Newburgh, IN 47630. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
