Avington, United Kingdom • 18 Jan 2026

Event

The Micheldever Forest SCOA League event takes place on Sunday 18 January. It is a Level C SCOA League orienteering event on an ISOM-2 map updated for this event. The area is managed by Forestry England and consists of generally runnable forest with many depressions and a gentle slope uphill from south to north. No rootstocks or hides are mapped; only significant holly bushes are shown. The entrance is off Main Road and parking is on forest tracks. The maximum distance from parking to assembly is about 600 m. EMIT eCards will be used on all courses. Participants must report to download before leaving and should provide their own water. Dogs are allowed but must be on a lead at all times. Some areas are out of bounds to protect wildlife; these must be respected. Toilets are available and there are pubs nearby.
