Micheldever Forest SCOA League

Micheldever Forest SCOA League takes place on Sunday 18th January in Micheldever Forest. The event uses a recently updated 1:10,000 ISOM2017-2 map with 5 m contours and EMIT eCards for electronic punching. Parking will be on hard standing gravel forest tracks; the maximum distance from parking to assembly is about 600 m.

The terrain is managed forest with generally good runnability and visibility, many depressions of varying sizes, and only gentle slopes. Some areas are out of bounds to protect sensitive ecology; participants should respect all OOB markings. The area is also used by cyclists, dog walkers and horse riders.

Entrants who wish to score SCOA League points must be current 2026 members of the national body with SCOA as their region on the day of the event; online membership on the day is permitted to meet this requirement. Beginners are welcome and a compass can be lent if required. Toilets are provided and there are pubs in the area for food.
