The 19th Annual Medved Madness Trail Races take place on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Stewart Lodge in Mendon Ponds Park, Honeoye Falls, NY. The event includes these distance options:

  • ~13 miles Long Course (early start option available)
  • ~5 miles Short Course
  • ~0.6+ miles Free Kid's K Trail Race

Distances are estimated and the course will be set on race day. The Long Course has one basic aid station located around the 5-6 mile mark; Long Course participants should carry their own hydration and nutrition. Long and Short Course participants receive a gender-specific technical shirt. A post-race barbecue will be served after the events.

Logistics and policies

Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Medved Running & Walking Outfitters (3400 Monroe Avenue) and there is also morning pickup at the race site. There is no day-of registration. Registrations may be deferred to the following year or transferred between Short and Long Course entries; transfers to other runners are not permitted. Requests for deferment or event transfers must be received no later than May 1, 2025. No refunds will be issued. Parking is available in the beach lot and along park roads. Dogs are not allowed on the course due to park rules and insurance. Volunteers are requested for packet pickup, aid station, course sweeping, road marshalling and other race roles.
