The Medved Madness trail running event takes place at Stewart Lodge in Mendon Ponds Park, New York. The date for the event is Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Races

The event features three separate trail races:

  • A Long Course of roughly 13 miles.
  • A Short Course of roughly 5 miles.
  • A free Kids K Trail Race, which is a little longer than a half mile.

Participants registered for the Long and Short Courses will receive a gender-specific technical t-shirt.

Post-Race Food

After the races, a barbecue lunch is provided. The menu includes items like BBQ chicken and potatoes.

Registration and Logistics

Packet pickup is available on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Medved Running & Walking Outfitters on Monroe Avenue. Packet pickup is also available on race day starting at 7:00 AM. There is no day-of-race registration.

The race offers deferrals to the following year's event. Participants can also switch between the Long and Short Course events. These requests must be made by May 1, 2025. No refunds are issued for the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
