Medved Madness Trail Races takes place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Stewart Lodge in Mendon Ponds Park, Honeoye Falls, NY. The event includes separate long and short trail races and a free Kids K trail race.

Distances

  • Long Course: roughly 13 miles

Course details are finalised on race day and vary from year to year because of trail conditions. The long course includes a basic aid station located around the 5 to 6 mile mark; participants are expected to carry their own hydration and nutrition needs. Long and short course participants receive a gender-specific technical shirt.

Packet pickup is held the day before at Medved Running & Walking Outfitters (Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm) with limited pickup available the morning of the race. There is no day-of registration. Parking is available in the beach lot or along park roads; attendees are asked to be respectful of the park and other participants.
