The Medoc Trail Races take place at Medoc Mountain State Park in Hollister, North Carolina. The event is a trail race with looped courses that use park roads briefly before moving onto wooded trails. Course and support

Runners pass aid stations at least three times per loop; aid stations are stocked with water, Gatorade, and gels. Trails are marked with black signs and orange arrows and with mile markers. The course is not certified. Timing is provided by Clockwork Timing. Finishers receive a race shirt (long sleeve for the 10-Miler, short sleeve for the 5-Miler), a finisher medal unique to each distance, and a post-race surprise. Post-race food includes soup and grilled hot dogs.

Logistics and rules

Early packet pickup is available at the park on Friday evening and race morning packet pickup is offered at the park. There is no race day registration. All entries are final; refunds, deferrals, and number transfers are not allowed. Dogs, bikes, skates, and baby joggers are prohibited on the course. Runners must cover the course on foot and remain on the marked route. Parking is beside the start and bag check is in personal vehicles.
