Med Bow Rail Marathon & Half Marathon

This event is a running event of the Friends of the Medicine Bow Rail Trail. It takes place on August 15, 2026, in Wyoming. The route runs through the Medicine Bow National Forest at an elevation of 9,030 feet. The entire event takes place on the Medicine Bow Rail Trail and around Lake Owen.

Two distances are available.

• Marathon: This distance covers the entire Medicine Bow Rail Trail pathway and includes a route around Lake Owen.
• Half Marathon: This distance runs around Lake Owen and a portion of the Medicine Bow Rail Trail.
