McQuaid Invitational Open Race

The McQuaid Invitational open race is the 61st running of the event and is held at Genesee Valley Park in Rochester, NY. The open race is an unattached competition and is not affiliated with high school teams or club programs. It covers a distance of 3 miles.

The meet program also includes 23 invitational high school and junior high races that take place before the open race. The open race is presented in honor of the meet's founder and long-time meet director associated with the Upstate Cross Country Series.

Online registration is available for the open race; the online registration period runs from July 5, 2026 through October 2, 2026. The pre-race online fee is $15. Race-day entry is accepted for $20 and is cash only.
