The Mason's Mission Color Run is a family-friendly event in Freeburg, IL that combines a colorful course with an awareness focus on distracted driving. The event takes place at Freeburg Recreational Park and is held to honor Mason’s life while raising awareness about the dangers of distracted driving.

Participants move along a course with multiple color stations where non-toxic powder is released along the route. The event accommodates walkers, joggers, and runners and is presented as appropriate for a wide range of ages and fitness levels.

An optional segment of the course follows Mason’s Trail, a wooded route created in memory. That trail features gentle hills and two small creek crossings. The terrain on the trail is described as easy and approachable, offering a quieter, scenic alternative within the event.
