Field limits and wait list policy

Each race has a set field limit: the 80 km solo allows 400 runners, the 80 km team event allows 250 teams, and the 42 km marathon allows 400 runners. A waiting list will open when an event reaches its field limit. To join the wait list an entrant must pay a deposit equal to 50% of the entry fee for their chosen event. Wait-list offers are made in chronological order; recipients have a limited number of days to accept or decline. If an offered spot is accepted, the entrant must pay the balance of the entry fee. If an offered spot is declined, the entrant is refunded their deposit minus a 10% administration fee. If an entrant on the wait list is not offered a spot, the full deposit is refunded one week after the event. Entrants may withdraw from the wait list at any time for a full refund of their deposit.
