Sandman 50

Sandman XI

Sandman XI is a 50 km running race held on the beaches of Geographe Bay, Western Australia. The course runs from the Old Dunsborough boat ramp to Busselton Jetty and back, with the nominal race line kept within 3 metres of the water’s edge. The event date is 1 February 2026. The event is listed by the Australian Ultra Runners Association.

• 50 km
• 25 km (relay leg)

Entrants may compete solo over the full 50 km or as a two-person relay, with each team member running 25 km and the changeover at Busselton Jetty. Solo entry is listed at $70, with a reduced solo fee of $60 for members (a $10 discount). A relay team fee of $95 is paid in full by the team captain; the team member then registers using a code provided by the captain. Both team members must register.

Registration opens on 10 July 2025. The organiser is Fixed Stars Enterprises Pty Ltd. Race rules, a user manual, course maps and past results are provided on the event website. Withdrawals made more than 14 days before the race receive a full refund minus a $20 administration fee; there is no refund for cancellations after that cutoff. Tee shirts are nonrefundable and will be posted to the registrant’s address if the entrant withdraws or does not start. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
