Manly Dam Trail Run

The Manly Dam Trail Run takes place on 2nd August 2026 at Manly Dam, 112 King St. The event uses an 8 km looping course that follows the water’s edge, descends back toward the dam and crosses the Manly Dam Bridge. Longer distances consist of multiple laps of the same loop.

  • 8 km One lap of Manly Dam
  • 16 km Two laps of the 8 km loop
  • 24 km Three laps of the 8 km loop
  • 32 km Four laps of the 8 km loop

The event is fully timed with live tracking and instant results after finishing. Aid stations will provide fuelling along the course and nutrition packs are included with entry. The 8 km loop will be clearly marked. St John’s Ambulance will provide first aid on site. Sponsor awards will recognise top-placed finishers and community contributions, and every finisher receives a participant medal. A race commentator will provide live commentary and energy at the start area.

Onsite facilities include a car park adjacent to registration, toilets and outdoor showers within 20 metres, and bubblers at the registration area. Parking is available but payable. The event operates a no plastic policy and requests participants bring a 500 ml refillable water bottle. Ticket transfers are allowed for a $20 admin fee and category changes can be made through the Active MyEvents account. The event raises awareness and donation support for Alpha-1, a hereditary condition affecting lung health. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
