Sydney Trail Series Spring Series - St Ives

The St Ives round of the Sydney Trail Series is held across three dates in 2025 at the St Ives Wildflower Gardens and nearby trails. The course network uses bush tracks and single-track sections, including scenic running along Cowan Creek. The long course passes through Ku-ring-gai National Park and includes steep and technical trail sections.

Distances offered at the St Ives events vary by date:

  • 28 Sep 2025: 7 km, 10.5 km, 24 km
  • 26 Oct 2025: 7 km, 10.5 km, 24 km
  • 23 Nov 2025: 7 km, 10.5 km, 24 km, 30 km

Registration can be made per race or as a series entry; a reduced fee applies for the third race when signing up for the whole series. On the day entries are available. Registration and bib collection are managed on race morning, with shorter course entries available after the long course event has begun.

Cut-off procedures are in place on the longer courses at specified aid stations. Runners who miss the cut-off for the 24 km course will be returned to the start and finish area. For the 30 km event, a missed cut-off at the designated aid station permits a recorded finish for the 24 km course. Participants who continue after cut-off do so at their own risk and must hand over their race bib and notify staff.

A post-race recovery station provides fruit, Tailwind Nutrition and water, and bacon and egg sandwiches will be available from a BBQ. Presentation of prizes will take place after the event and recipients must be present to receive awards. The start and finish area is located in Picnic Area 3 of the St Ives Showgrounds precinct, accessible from Mona Vale Road with parking available within the showgrounds.
