The Mac Forest Trail Runs will be held on March 14, 2026, at Oregon State University’s McDonald Forest (Peavy Arboretum), Corvallis, Oregon. This is the 29th running of the event. Distances offered:

Course and logistics

The course uses single-track trails and logging roads. The 15K includes about 1,450 ft of elevation gain. Two aid stations are placed on the course. Weather can affect traction and the exact route; the organizers note the course could change on race day. The event will be cupless.

Registration opens November 26, 2025. Standard entry fees listed are $40 for the 15K and $30 for the 5K; youth 18 and under register at reduced fees ($20 for the 15K, $15 for the 5K). Registration fees increase by $5 after January 15. Day-of registration is available with cash or check only, and registration and bib pickup begin at 7:30 am. Participant limits apply. The race does not allow dogs or strollers. Race shirts must be ordered by February 1 to guarantee race-day delivery.
