The Leicestershire & Rutland Athletics Association will hold the 99th Cross Country Championships on Saturday 3 January 2026 at Rotherby Lodge Farm, Rotherby (LE14 2LL). The event is licensed under Licence No. CC25/1802. The organisers set a maximum of 500 entrants and a minimum age of 9 years. Entries close on 30 December 2025.

Entry, eligibility and race rules

All entrants except U11 must hold current individual registration with a national athletics association and provide a valid URN. Entry fees include a £2 charitable donation to local causes; there are no team entry fees. Category fees are set by age group and include separate amounts for U11, U13, U15, U17, U20, Seniors and Masters.

Only one age-group entry is allowed per athlete. Team awards apply to first-claim, county-qualified members of clubs affiliated to L&RAA and are scored from individual entries. Scoring: normally first three finishers per club score, except Senior Men score the first five and Masters Men score the first four. There will be no team awards in the U20 category; U20 athletes count towards senior team scores. A 75-minute maximum applies for senior/masters finishers. UK Anti-Doping rules apply.
