Course details

The 100K is an out-and-back route using Third Divide, Pacific Crest Trail, and Lakes Basin Trails with a listed elevation gain of about 10,780 ft and a total cutoff of 20 hours. The 50K is point-to-point with about 5,360 ft of elevation gain and a 10-hour cutoff. The 25K is a loop with about 2,330 ft of elevation gain and a 6-hour cutoff.

There are five unique aid stations used across the distances; aid stations provide water, hydration mix, light food, and some warm foods at specific stations. The course surface is described as roughly 70% alpine singletrack, 20% mountain bike singletrack, and 10% dirt/gravel/road. Mandatory items for the 100K include a pack or vest, a space blanket, and a headlamp. Pacers are permitted for 100K runners on the return at specified aid stations; there is no event shuttle for pacers. Drop bag access and shuttle service details apply to certain distances.
