The Lost One Standing trail run will take place on August 24, 2024, between Silverton and Durango, Colorado. Participants will tackle a new orienteering course every third hour until only one person remains in the blue division or for 24 hours, whichever comes first. Orienteering involves competitive land navigation using only a map and compass, with courses rated for navigational difficulty and physical severity. The event will be held in the Twilight Zone area, featuring forests, gneiss tablelands, and elevations ranging from 8,200 to 9,700 feet.
