Kennebec Mountain Run

The Kennebec Mountain Run is a non-profit trail race scheduled for August 1, 2026, near Hesperus, Colorado, on County Road 124. The event offers a single 15-mile course that runs through the La Plata Mountains.

The course includes 3,100 feet of elevation gain and reaches a high point of 12,200 feet at Kennebec Pass. The route passes areas with views of the Animas River and Dolores River valleys and alpine wildflower meadows.
