Lory Summer Trail Series : Eltuck Valley 12K
This event is the fourth race in a midweek summer trail series held at Lory State Park, Eltuck Picnic Area in Bellvue, Colorado. The race is a fast, flat 12 kilometer course on the Valley Trails with about 500 feet of elevation gain. Registrations for this race are capped at 125. Registration opens 12/15/2025 and closes 7/1/2026; the listed entry fee is $25.
The series includes shorter midweek trail races in August with race distances ranging from 5k to 12k. Results for the series are recorded with timing chips and series points are awarded; top series finishers receive awards. All registrants may choose from a selection of vintage Gnar race shirts as available.
Logistics note: there is no on-course aid for these races. Permanent toilets are available at the start/finish area and the Valley 12K passes park restrooms at roughly 0.25, 3.8, 6.1 and 6.3 miles. Parking is at the Eltuck Picnic Area until full, then on nearby Spur Road with a short walk to the start.
