Course and logistics

All runners complete the same approximately 4 mile loop, with about 200 ft of elevation gain per loop. The course is mostly single track through the LBA woods, passing under a forest canopy of ferns and moss and circling the park area and ballfields. The race begins and ends at the main LBA park shelter. Course markings and signage will be placed at intersections with marking tape before and after turns.

An aid station at the start/finish will offer water, Tailwind, soda, fruit, chips, pickles, other snacks, basic first aid, and later quesadillas and soup. The event is cupless; runners should bring a collapsible cup or may purchase one at packet pickup. There is space at the shelter for drop bags or a personal supply station. Completed loops are counted toward results. Race packets and bibs are available for pickup on race day at LBA Park. Parking is at the main lot, 3333 Morse-Merryman Road SE, Olympia, with overflow announced if needed. Registration includes aid station access, a handmade finisher award for finishers, a film festival ticket for 3/15, a tree planted per finisher, and a limited edition sticker.
