Lithgow Ridgy-Didge Trail Run Festival : Hassans Walls Reserve, Lithgow NSW

The event takes place on March 28, 2026 at Hassans Walls Reserve with the race hub at Lithgow Pony Club, Sheedy's Gully. It is the fifth edition organised by Blue Mountains Fitness and uses the ridges and escarpments above Lithgow.

Racing is held on a mix of dirt roads, 4WD tracks, walking trails and mountain bike single track, crossing multiple ridges and passing several lookout points with valley views. Route materials are available in GPX and PDF formats and all six courses are published as interactive Google Maps that show aid stations, toilets, checkpoints, start and finish locations and latitude/longitude coordinates. There is mobile phone coverage throughout the course.

There are three major aid stations at CP6, CP7 and CP13 and Tailwind supplies on-course fuel plus a Tailwind Recovery marquee. Drop bags are provided to designated checkpoints for longer races. Mandatory gear requirements are specified for 50 km, 42.2 km, 30 km, 22 km and 10 km events; no mandatory gear is required for the 5 km. All finishers receive a Ridgy-Didge medal.
