Lincoln Marabank is a timed running event presented by Vigilantes Maravan CIC at Woodcocks, Burton Waters, near Lincoln. The event uses a flat, traffic-free canal towpath alongside the Roman-built Fossdyke on a measured course and is described as multi-terrain.

Runners have up to seven hours on course to run as far as they choose. Medals are awarded to everyone who completes at least one lap. Marathon entrants may run an approved marathon distance that is probably just over the nominal distance, and an early start option is available for marathon runners which can give up to eight hours to complete the distance.

The event is held under an ARC permit and is insured to meet ARC minimum standards. A well-stocked aid station will be provided on course.

Key details: maximum 50 entrants, minimum age 18 years, entries close 01/03/2026. Entry prices listed are Affiliated £30 and Unaffiliated £32. Entry fees are non-refundable; transfers to another runner are possible with seven days notice. In exceptionally poor weather entries may be deferred to the following year.
