All routes start and end at the McKenny Trailhead at Margaret McKenny Campground in Capitol Forest, near Olympia, WA. Distances offered are:

Participants complete their chosen course between November 22 and November 30 and record their total elapsed time on UltraSignUp. Courses are marked, but a georeferenced course map is available for use with the Avenza app and is recommended for those unfamiliar with the area. Photo submissions are encouraged for prize consideration. A Discover Pass must be visible in vehicles parked at the trailhead. Raffle tickets are available for purchase for fundraising; all raffle proceeds go to the food bank. Donor items include contributions from local businesses and running brands.
