Course, services, and rules

The course follows the Willapa Hills Trail, an old rail grade that runs along the Chehalis River. The trail is flat and wide double track with a mostly hard-packed gravel surface. The 100 Miler will use the 50-mile course twice this year because of trail surface work that may close sections of the western trail. The 100 Miler surface is described as about 96 miles packed gravel and 4 miles pavement.

Aid stations: 2-3 for the 5K, 25K, and 50K; additional stations for 50 Miler and 100 Miler including two extra stations on the western out-and-back. Stations will offer water, electrolytes, candy, cookies, chips, fruit, and gels. The overall cutoff for the 100 Miler is 34 hours. Pacers are allowed from the 50K mark onward for the 100 Miler. The 100 Miler finisher award is a ceramic belt buckle; drop bags and multiple restrooms are available along the route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
