LBL Bridge to Bridge Trail Run

The **LBL Bridge to Bridge Trail Run** is a **22 km** trail event in Hardin, Kentucky, held on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The race offers three formats: an individual run, a **2 person relay**, and a **3 person relay**. The course begins on the Canton side of the Lake Barkley Bridge and enters the Land Between the Lakes Recreation Area. It first follows a paved path along Highway 80 for **3.6 miles**, then continues on the Central Hardwoods Scenic Trail.

This section is a winding woodland path with packed gravel for **8.2 miles**, with moderate elevation changes. The final **1.8 miles** return to pavement as the course connects with the Kentucky Lake Bridge and finishes just west of Kentucky Lake along Highway 80, near Eggner's Ferry Bridge. Relay teams cover the same route as the individual race. For the **2 person relay**, the exchange zone is at Golden Pond Visitor Center, about **7.4 miles** from the start, leaving roughly **6.2 miles** for the second runner.

For the **3 person relay**, segment one is **3.6 miles** of paved trail ending at Sunset Trailhead, segment two is a **3.8 mile** woodland trail to Golden Pond Visitor Center, and segment three is about **6.2 miles** on a mix of wooded and paved trail. The event is dog friendly. Dogs may run alongside their owners on a leash for the entire race, without separate registration or awards.
