The Land Between the Lakes - The Great American Trail Race, held annually in Grand Rivers, Kentucky, offers four challenging distances: 50 miles, 60 km, marathon, and 23 km. Starting along the scenic Kentucky Lake shoreline, the course leads runners into the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, featuring the 11.3-mile Canal Loop with rolling hills and spectacular views of Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. The mostly single-track dirt trail is runnable and showcases natural beauty in early spring.
