Lake Travis New Year's Trail Challenge
The Lake Travis New Year's Trail Challenge takes place January 1–2, 2027 at Shaffer Bend Park in Marble Falls, Texas. The event offers multiple trail race distances and ruck divisions on looped courses that run along the Colorado River and over sun-bleached limestone bluffs.
Distances available include:
- 100K (62.2 miles, looped course)
- 50K (31.1 miles, looped course)
- 25K (15.5 miles)
- 13.1M half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
Course and timing details note a looped layout on trails and along the river, with elevation change reported at about 512 ft gain and 531 ft loss per loop for the longer ultramarathon distances.
