Lake of the Ozarks Endurance Runs takes place at Lake of the Ozarks State Park, Public Beach #1 in Kaiser, MO on May 2, 2026. The event comprises three linked races that start and finish at the same beach and share post-race amenities, aid stations, and awards.

Races

  • Wandering Bobcat 5 Miler - about 5.5 miles with roughly 700 feet of elevation gain.
  • Trail of Four Winds 25K - a heavy 25K with 1600 plus feet of elevation gain.
  • LOZ Traverse - approximately 32 miles of running plus 3 miles of paddling.

The LOZ Traverse is an individual event only; each competitor must provide their own kayak, canoe, or stand up paddle board and wear a Coast Guard approved life jacket. The course combines the Four Winds trail, two lake paddle crossings, and about 13 miles of single track on the Honey Run side. Cutoffs include a 3.5 hour cutoff to finish the Four Winds side and an overall 10 hour cutoff. The 25K has a 6.5 hour cutoff.

Aid stations are positioned at roughly 3.5, 10, 13.5, 15.5/finish, and additional stations at 22, 26.5, and 29 miles for the Traverse. Drop bags are allowed for the Traverse at the start/finish. Packet pickup is race day only from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Registration closes April 30 at 11:59 PM CT.

Registration includes at least one swag item, a finisher award, a post race beverage ticket, and access to a stocked finish line aid station. Awards recognize top three overall male and female finishers per race; recipients must be present. Photographs will be taken and posted at no charge. Title sponsors are Fleet Feet Columbia and Fleet Feet Jefferson City. An optional donation component supports Magic Dragon Trails, with matching funds from the organizer.
