The Lake of the Ozarks Endurance Runs take place at Lake of the Ozarks State Park, with start/finish and post-race activities at Public Beach #1 in Linn Creek, Missouri. - Trail of Four Winds : 25K
- LOZ Traverse : approximately 32 miles running + 3 miles paddling
Course notes: Trails traverse Lake of the Ozarks State Park with lake views, rock outcrops, overlooks, seasonal streams, woodlands, roots, loose rocks, slick surfaces, creek crossings, and steep grades (10 percent or more). Elevation gain is listed as 700+ feet for the shorter course and 1600+ feet for the 25K. The LOZ Traverse combines the 25K route with additional single-track mileage and two paddle crossings; boats (kayak, canoe, or SUP) must be provided by the competitor and a Coast Guard approved life jacket must be worn. The LOZ Traverse is an individual event only. Aid stations are located at multiple points on all courses and a drop bag location is available at the start/finish. Packet pickup is race day only. Awards are finisher awards plus overall top-three male and female prizes; recipients must be present to accept awards. Photographs are taken and provided at no charge.
