Knock Ma
Knock Ma is a mountain running event in County Galway scheduled for Wednesday 12th August 2026. The event features marked routes and is listed as Difficulty 5, described as easy terrain with 200 m to 500 m ascent and distances in the 6 km to 10 km range.

The start and finish area is at the Knockma car park. Competitors are asked to park considerately as the car park is public and often busy; carpooling or cycling is encouraged.
GPS devices are not allowed. The event is part of the Galway League. Entry fees are €7 for seniors and €5 for over 65s and under 18s. Entries open on Monday 3rd August 2026 and close on Wednesday 12th August 2026. The event has a maximum of 250 places.
Mandatory Level B standard kit is required and must be brought to the race. Required items include a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or bivvy bag. The exact kit to be carried may be finalised on the day and will be advised at registration.
