Courses and facilities

Courses cover runnable forest with paths and rides, fenced inclosures and streams; one steep-sided stream in the north has easier nearby crossing points. The Coalmeer Gutter stream in the south is out of bounds except at two defined crossing paths. Maps are scale 1:10,000 with 5 m contours, updated in Autumn 2024. Control descriptions are printed on the map; White and Yellow use text descriptions, others use IOF symbols. The event uses SI dibber timing; hire dibbers are available and lost dibbers are chargeable. Facilities at the event centre include portable toilets, catering from a food wagon and a clothing dump roughly 300 m from the start and 400 m from the finish.
