Keystone Iowa 2026 Zombie Apocalypse 5K Run

The Keystone Iowa 2026 Zombie Apocalypse 5K Run takes place on 10/10/2026 in Keystone, Iowa at 91 2nd Ave. The event is a chip timed 5K. Participants wear flag football belts with flags attached and proceed along a marked course where costumed and made up zombies are stationed.

Zombies attempt to remove runners' flags but will not physically contact a runner except in attempts to pull a flag. Pulling, grabbing, pushing, or striking a zombie or a runner is not permitted. Zombies will be identified by make up and/or costumes.

Registration opens on 4/1/2026 and closes on 10/6/2026. The registration fee is $35.00. All proceeds will be donated to Keystone First Responders and Benton Girl's Wrestling. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
