Kettle Cooker Five & Dime Trail Race

The Kettle Cooker Five & Dime Trail Race is a trail running event at Glenroy Preserve in Nottingham, PA. The event offers multiple loop distances and on-course support. Distances offered include:

  • 5 miles
  • 10 miles
  • 25K

Course and support

Each distance is run as a loop. The 10 mile and 25K courses follow the same route and split near mile 9. The course includes hills, creek crossings, mixed terrain, and some rocky sections. There are three aid stations on course providing water and light trail nutrition. Chip timing and a soft race tee are provided to registered participants. The race is cupless; registrants may add a reusable collapsible cup for an additional fee. Course maps, including elevation, are available under the Course Photos tab.

Logistics and additional information

Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, October 3 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Philadelphia Runner, Glen Mills, PA, and Saturday, October 4 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Lola’s in Oxford, PA. Race registration closes on October 4; there is no race day registration or packet pickup. Parking uses about 3 acres of mowed field with room for roughly 300 cars and may be muddy. Glenroy Preserve does not allow overnight camping. Porta-potties will be on site. One post-race beer (21+) and post-race snacks are provided. Dogs are not allowed to run with participants.
