Kettle Cooker Five & Dime
The event takes place October 4, 2026 at Glenroy Preserve, 50 W Christine Road, Nottingham, PA 19362. It is the fourth annual running of the Kettle Cooker series and offers looped trail courses in the preserve.
Distances offered
- 5 miles: one loop with split near mile 4, three creek crossings.
- 25K (15.5 miles): follows 5 mile loop then diverges, at least six creek crossings.
- 50K (31 miles): two loops of the 25K, passes all aid stations twice.
Courses feature mixed terrain with plentiful hills, technical sections, and rocky surfaces that can be slick. Runners should expect multiple creek crossings and wet feet; trail running shoes are recommended for traction and drainage.
On-course support includes four aid stations supplying water and nutrition, and the event uses chip timing. Registered participants receive a soft race tee, post-race snacks and music, and a complimentary beer for those 21 and older.
There will be no race day registration or packet pick up. Pre-race packet pickup is Saturday, October 3 from 12:00 to 3:00 pm at Lola's, 57 S. 3rd St., Oxford, PA. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
