Kessel Run Ultra
Kessel Run Ultra is a trail ultramarathon held in Fruita, Colorado at the North Fruita Desert on November 7, 2026. The event offers multiple distance options on singletrack that move from fast flowing trail into the steeper sections of the Zippity-Do-Da Trail and through high desert terrain with views of the San Juan Mountains and the Colorado National Monument.

This is a cupless event. Water dispensers are located at the start/finish and at every aid station for filling bladders, bottles, and reusable cups. Aid station mileage, cutoff times, and course limit information are published separately. The start/finish is located across the street from the 18 Road Parking in Fruita with GPS coordinates 39.31093, -108.70360. Fee camping is available nearby at North Fruita Desert via recreation.gov.
Packet pickup occurs the day before the race and on race morning; a photo ID is required to receive a packet. Runners receive a race shirt, bib, BOCO Technical Trucker hat, and finisher's medal.
