John Forrest Trail Run

The John Forrest Trail Run is an off-road running event organized by the West Australian Marathon Club. The event takes place in Hovea, with the staging area located at the corner of Flora and Park Road. Participation is open to the general public, and individuals do not need to be members of the running club to enter.

Participants can choose between two different course distances:

• 13 km
• 4.3 km

The event is conducted with a self-sufficiency requirement regarding hydration while on the course. There are no drink stations provided along the routes, so runners are required to carry their own water. However, water is made available for participants at the start and finish area.

Registration for the event is available online until the night before the race, unless the capacity is reached earlier. Fees for the event vary based on the selected distance, the participant's age, and their membership status with the West Australian Marathon Club.
