Jog in the Fog 5K : Richmond District YMCA

The 14th Annual Jog in the Fog is presented as a family 5K run on September 20, 2026, organized by the Richmond District YMCA. The event is described as kid friendly and suited for school groups, sports teams, and multi-generational families. All registered participants receive the event t-shirt.

The official course begins at Mountain Lake Park and finishes at the USS San Francisco Memorial Parking Lot in Lands End. Organizers note the route winds through scenic trails and that a GPS measurement of the course is 3.4 miles. Course monitors will be stationed along the route to guide participants. Restrooms are available at the start and at the finish; lockers and storage for personal items are not provided. Shuttles are not provided and parking is available near the start and at the finish. Portions of the route include rocky, uneven terrain and stairs; strollers are not recommended and dogs are not permitted.

Post-race activities at the finish include snacks, games, music, and kid-friendly activities. Awards are listed by age divisions including youth, teen, adult, and a gold division for age 60 and over, with top places for male, female, and non-binary categories.
