Isle Of Wight Fell Race Series 2026
The Isle of Wight Fell Race Series is a multi-day athletic event held in Ventnor. This championship series incorporates the SEAA Fell Running Championships and consists of three distinct races over the course of a weekend. The event headquarters is located at St Catherine’s School, which provides access to toilets and a registration area. The start line is situated five minutes away on the seafront, while the finish line leads directly into the school playing fields to avoid local traffic.
Participants can choose to enter individual races or the complete series. The three events offer varying distances and elevations:
- The St Boniface Fell: 3.8 km with 235 m of ascent.
- The Ventnor Horseshoe: 12 km with 443 m of ascent.
- The Wroxall Round: 21 km with 487 m of ascent.
Registration takes place at the race headquarters on both days. To qualify for the SEAA Fell Running Championships, runners must complete all three races and meet specific club affiliation or residency requirements. Minimum age requirements apply and vary by race distance; the shortest race is open to those 13 years or older, while the two longer distances require participants to be at least 20 years old by the end of the year. Travelers using Wightlink ferry services may be eligible for discounted travel rates upon entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
