Isle of Wight Fell Race Series 2026

The Isle of Wight Fell Race Series takes place on 12 and 13 September 2026 and is organised by Ryde Harriers. The series is the Isle of Wight Fell Running Championship Series and incorporates the SEAA Fell Running Championships. The race headquarters are at St Catherine’s School, Grove Road, Ventnor, Isle of Wight, PO38 1TT.

The series comprises three races:

  • The St Boniface Fell - 3.8 km, 235 m ascent (AS)
  • The Ventnor Horseshoe - 12 km, 443 m ascent (BM)
  • The Wroxall Round - 21 km, 487 m ascent (CL)

Entries open 22 October 2025 and close 7 September 2026. Entry fees listed by the organiser include seniors at £10 per race or £25 for the series, and juniors (U20) at £8 for The St Boniface Fell. The entry list shows 25 participants so far. Entries and entry administration are handled through SiEntries and pre-entry is required for championship qualification.

Race numbers are collected from race registration at the venue on race days. The venue has toilets but no showers. The school is close to the seafront start area and the finish enters the school playing fields. Wightlink may offer discounted travel for some ferry routes and an up to date accommodation list is available from Visit Isle of Wight.

Championship qualification requires pre-entry by the closing date and eligibility as a first claim club member of an SEAA-affiliated fell running club or as an individual FRA member born in, or resident for nine months in, the SEAA area. Competitors must complete all three races to qualify for the SEAA championship. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
