Isle of Wight Fell Race Series 2026

The Isle of Wight Fell Race Series is a three-race fell running series held on the Isle of Wight from Saturday 12 September to Sunday 13 September 2026. The race headquarters are at St Catherine’s School, Grove Road, Ventnor, PO38 1TT. The finish area enters the school playing fields and the headquarters are close to the seafront start area.

The Series also serves as the SEAA Fell Running Championships. Competitors who wish to score in the SEAA Championship must pre-enter by the closing date and meet eligibility via first claim membership of an SEAA club affiliated for fell running, or by individual membership of the FRA with at least nine months residence in the SEAA area. To qualify for the Championship, competitors must complete all three races.

Entry details: entries open Wednesday 22 October 2025 and close Monday 7 September 2026. Entry fees are listed as Seniors £10 per race or £25 for the series, and Juniors (U20) £8 for the St Boniface Fell. The entry list shows a small number of participants so far. Race numbers are available from race registration at the headquarters.

Facilities: toilets are available at the school, there are no showers. Wightlink may offer discounted travel for some ferry passengers and drivers, with details provided on entry. Accommodation information is available from Visit Isle of Wight.

Trail runs nearby

Single lap trail races in the Meon Valley from Queen Elizabeth Country Park offering 16 mile, marathon and 50km options with marked routes, aid stations and mandatory fluid carriage.

Enjoy coastal paths and scenic marshes at the Chichester Harbour Trail Run in Chidham, with 21 km and 16 km trail routes on 28 February 2026. Runners, canicross teams and hikers are all welcome for a welcoming day outdoors.
