Isle Of Wight Fell Race Series 2026

The Isle of Wight Fell Race Series is a multi-day athletic event organized by Ryde Harriers. The series serves as the Isle of Wight Fell Running Championship and incorporates the South East Athletic Association (SEAA) Fell Running Championships. The event is based at St Catherine’s School in Ventnor, where participants can access registration and toilet facilities.

The series consists of three distinct races held over a single weekend:

  • The St Boniface Fell: A 3.8 km course with 235 m of ascent.
  • The Ventnor Horseshoe: A 12 km course with 443 m of ascent.
  • The Wroxall Round: A 21 km course with 487 m of ascent.

Registration takes place at the race headquarters, which is situated close to the seafront start line. The courses are designed so that the finish line enters the school playing fields to avoid local traffic. To be eligible for the SEAA Championship rankings, competitors must be members of an affiliated club and complete all three races in the series.

Participation is subject to age restrictions based on race distance. The minimum age for the opening 3.8 km race is 12 years old by the end of the year. For the longer 12 km and 21 km events, participants must be at least 20 years old by the end of the calendar year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
