The Isle of Wight Fell Race Series 2026 takes place on 12 and 13 September 2026 at St Catherine’s School, Grove Road, Ventnor, Isle of Wight, PO38 1TT. The series is the Isle of Wight Fell Running Championship Series and incorporates the SEAA Fell Running Championships. Entries open 22 October 2025 and close 7 September 2026. Entry fees are £10 per race or £25 for the series for seniors; juniors (U20) pay £8 for The St Boniface Fell Race. There are currently 2 participants listed. The event is organised by Ryde Harriers.

Races and course details

  • The St Boniface Fell (classification AS) : 3.8 km, 235 m ascent.
  • The Ventnor Horseshoe (classification BM) : 12 km, 443 m ascent.
  • The Wroxall Round (classification CL) : 21 km, 487 m ascent.

To qualify for the SEAA Championship competitors must pre-enter by the closing date and meet SEAA/FRA membership or residency requirements; completion of all three races is required to qualify for the Championship.

Venue and logistics

Race headquarters are at St Catherine’s School in Ventnor. The finish enters the school playing fields and the school is close to the seafront start; there are toilets but no showers at the venue. Trail runs nearby

Take on scenic South Downs trails at Queen Elizabeth Country Park with routes for every level. Choose 21.6 km, 15.2 km or 7.9 km trail runs or join canicross and hikes, organised by UK Running Events.

Hibernal Hills opens the season with a single loop in Hampshire on runnable but undulating trails with some long climbs. Choose 50 mile, 50 km or 20 mile routes, waymarked with live tracking and chip timing.

Run two scenic coastal half marathons in Portsmouth and Langstone Harbour over one weekend, enjoying harbour trails, seafront promenades and an optional ferry crossing. Complete both to claim the limited edition "Double Trouble" medal.
