IRON HORSE launches January 2, 2027 on the Northeast Texas Trail (NETT) in Farmersville, Texas. The event offers three distances: a point-to-point 100-mile race, one of Texas’s first 200-milers, and an inaugural out-and-back 100K. Runners traverse a flat, open, fast corridor along the NETT, crossing small towns and rugged backcountry on gravel, dirt, pavement, and grass. The race features full support with aid stations and a unique finisher’s plaque engraved with name, distance, and route, plus an authentic NETT railroad spike.
