Towne Lake Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

The 6th Annual Towne Lake Half Marathon, 10K & 5K is scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2026, in McKinney, Texas. The event features a scenic route through Towne Lake Park and the McKinney Nature Preserve, providing views of the lake and the surrounding Collin County trails.

The event offers three distinct distances:

  • Half Marathon (USATF certified)
  • 10 km (USATF certified)
  • 5 km (USATF certified)

All courses are USATF certified to ensure accurate distance measurement. Participants in all three distances receive a gender-specific technical t-shirt and a finisher medal, subject to availability. The race is held on a rain or shine basis, and entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The event supports the McKinney Police Association, a charitable organization that serves police officers and the local community. For those unable to attend the in-person race in McKinney, a virtual option is available for all three distances. Virtual race packets, which include a bib, shirt, and medal, are shipped within the United States approximately four to six weeks after the event date.
