The IRON GRIDDLE event takes place at Percy Warner Park, with the start and finish at the Gaucho Road Trailhead, 2628 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville, TN 37221. The event is organized by Sasquatchalope Trail Running and supports trail maintenance, removal of invasive species, and tree planting.

Courses run on the park's marked Blue, White, and Red loops. The IRON GRIDDLE 50K traverses the full set of loops with a reversal in the second half and about 5,175 ft of elevation gain; it includes several out-and-back sections and multiple aid stations at named trailheads and features. The Hidden Owl Trail Half follows Blue, Red, and White loops in a counter clockwise direction with about 2,400 ft of elevation gain and aid stations near The Chimney and The Nature Center. The Moss Monster Six is a roughly 6 mile loop on the Mossy Ridge red trail with about 1,060 ft of elevation gain and an aid station near The Chimney.

Logistics note: packet pickup is scheduled the day before at REI Brentwood. The event uses staggered start procedures to spread participants on the trails.
