IRON GRIDDLE is a trail race set in Percy Warner Park at the Gaucho Road Trailhead in Nashville, TN. The event offers multiple distances and uses marked park trails that combine the Blue, White, and Red loops. The start/finish area and parking are at Gaucho Road Trailhead, adjacent to the Steeplechase horse track. Sausage, bacon, eggs, and pancakes are prepared on cast iron griddles at the start/finish area.

The 50K course traverses the park loops in one direction for the first half and reverses direction for the second half, including repeated climbs such as the Belle Meade stairs and sections on the Blue Loop Saddle and Deep Well Trailhead. Aid stations are placed along the route at named locations including The Chimney, Deep Well, The Nature Center, and Gaucho Road Trailhead, with additional water and snack points near the later miles.
The Trail Half follows the Blue, Red, and White loops in a counter clockwise direction and includes a descent to the Belle Meade Stairs and a return climb. The 6 Mile course follows the Mossy Ridge red loop with a midpoint aid station at The Chimney.
