The Indian Trail event takes place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Mississinewa High School Cross Country Course in Gas City, IN. The program includes multiple race options and serves as a fundraiser for the Mississinewa Cross Country program, which comprises the high school team, middle school team, and the Indians Elementary running club.

Course and awards

The course is a newly designed layout that runs the perimeter of the athletic fields and includes multiple loops through the woods on the school grounds. Registration fees are listed for each event and increase after November 1, 2025; discounts are available for military, first responders, Mississinewa cross country alumni, teachers, and current middle school or high school cross country or track athletes.

Awards are given by event: the Kids Mile (ages 3-10) recognizes the top three girl and top three boy finishers. The 5K offers overall male and female awards and top three male and female finishers in these age divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
