Ilford Athletic Club is organising a 10 mile cross country race over three laps of an undulating route on tracks and grassland in Hainault Forest. The course starts and finishes on the plain at Chigwell Row, Lambourne Road (opposite Millers Lane), IG7 6ET, near The Two Brewers pub.

There is a cut-off time of 2 hours. Runners who exceed this time may continue on the course, but marshals may no longer be present and an official finish time cannot be guaranteed.

Entry, logistics and prizes

Entries are open with a total of 500 places. On-the-day entries are available with a £3 surcharge. Early entry prices until 22 Dec 2025 are £7 (discounted for members of EA WA SA); the standard price is £9 after that date. Confirmation of entry will be sent by email if an address is supplied. Race numbers are to be collected on the day from race HQ.

Parking and public conveniences are available via the main entrance to Hainault Forest Park; parking is not available on the plain at the race start. Participants are asked not to park at The Two Brewers pub or in local residential side roads. Prizes will be awarded to the first three men and women and to veteran categories.
