The Ignite Trail Marathon event is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Chain O'Lakes State Park in Albion, Indiana (2355 E 75 S, Albion, IN 46701). The event is part of the Ignite Trail series and includes both marathon and half marathon distances.

Race details

The course is a 13.1-mile loop that participants run once for the half marathon or twice for the full marathon. The event has an eight-hour cutoff. There are three aid stations along the course; local high school cross country teams are being recruited to help staff them for fundraising. Registration typically closes about one week before the race and there is no day-of-race registration. The listed event entry fees are $115 for the marathon and $90 for the half marathon. Open registration shows the events are available to ages 18 to 80. The 2024 Ignite Trail Marathon served as the RRCA Indiana State Championship.
