Huntsville Slam
The Huntsville Slam is a four race series organized by the Huntsville Track Club in Huntsville, Alabama. The series requires completion of four designated Huntsville races held between November and January. Required races listed in order are Dizzy Fifties 50K (November 21, 2026), Rocket City Marathon (December 13, 2026), Recover from the Holidays 50K (December 31, 2026), and Mountain Mist 50K (January 23, 2027).
Participants must register individually for each of the four required races and also register separately for the Huntsville Slam. Slam registration opens October 1, 2026 and closes December 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST; late entries are not accepted. All finish times will be verified after each race to confirm eligibility.
The rules specify that no substitutions or alternate distances are allowed and only the listed four races qualify for the Slam. If a participant does not finish any required race or fails to register for one, they are not eligible for the finisher award. Slam registration is non-refundable.
Runners who complete all four required races within each event’s official time limit will receive a custom embroidered finisher garment (jacket, pullover, or similar). Finisher awards will be available for pickup at the finish line of Mountain Mist, inside the lodge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
