The 16th Annual Backcountry Wilderness Half Marathon in Highlands Ranch is set to take place on November 2 at 9:00 am. The 13.1-mile trail race will traverse captivating landscapes, including the Douglas County East/West trail and the Backcountry Wilderness Area. Prize money will be awarded to the top three male and female overall winners. Participants will receive a long sleeve technical race shirt, custom race bib, custom finisher medal, and enjoy a free pancake breakfast and post-race beers. The course offers a challenging experience on 100% dirt/gravel/singletrack paths, with cut-off checkpoints at 8.9 miles and the finish line.
