Format and logistics

Registration has tiered pricing and closes on June 2. Packet pick-up with bib numbers is available race day beginning at 4:30 pm at Bridge Brew Works. The course is a closed trail route and includes at least one water station on course. Timing is by chip timing. Participant items listed by the organizer include finish line photos, top finisher medals, a commemorative sport towel for all participants, and post-race snacks. Participants ages 12 and under may join the 5K for free when a parent signs up.

Competition, teams and fundraising

Individual awards are given to the top three males and females in each age division: 5-17, 18-34, 35-49, 50-64, and 65+. There is no separate awards category for walkers and no awards for virtual participants. Workplace and community teams can be formed during registration; team awards include categories for spirit, largest team, and top fundraising. Proceeds support Active SWV Kids Run Clubs.
