Gritty Chix Mud Run

The Gritty Chix Mud Run takes place at ACE Adventure Resort. The event is described as a non-competitive mud run. Participants can tackle obstacles and splash through mud pits.

Two course distances are available.

  • The Tenacious Trail is a 5K course.
  • The Moxie Mile is a 1-mile course.

Both courses use woodland trails that converge on a mud obstacle course. Obstacles have varying degrees of difficulty. Participants have the option to bypass any obstacle. Water and first aid are available along the trails and at the finish line.

The event is open to everyone ages 10 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. There is a post-run party with live music at The Lost Paddle Bar and Grill. A portion of the event's proceeds is donated to a charitable organization.

Registration includes a race medal. Those who register by a specified date also receive an event shirt. Other perks include a secure bag check, access to shower houses and changing rooms, free parking, and shuttles to facilities. Prizes are awarded in categories like best costume and largest team.
