Hotfoot 5K Trail Run: Event details

The Hotfoot 5K Trail Run takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Port Orchard, Washington. The event location is South Kitsap Regional Park at 2841 Lund Ave SE, Port Orchard, WA 98366. This is the 24th running of the event. It is presented by the South Kitsap Fire Rescue Volunteer Association. Proceeds benefit a community scholarship program and the public 4th of July fireworks show. Registrations are priced at $25 preregistration for the 5K and $15 preregistration for the 1 mile. Day-of-race registration is $35, cash or check only. T-shirts are available for an additional fee: $25 pre-event, $30 day of race. COVID-19 requirements may apply.

Course

The courses are mostly flat, one full loop routes through wooded areas of the park and past park features. The 5K passes the SK Skate Park, Casey's Batting Cage, the kids playground, and Live Steamer trains. The 1 mile course is a flat loop that travels through wooded areas and runs adjacent to the skate park, fields, and the Horse Shoe area.
