Hotfoot 5K Trail Run : June 20, 2026
The Hotfoot 5K Trail Run is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, at South Kitsap Regional Park, 2841 Lund Ave SE, Port Orchard, WA 98366. This is the 24th running of the event. It is presented by the South Kitsap Fire Rescue Volunteer Association, and proceeds benefit a community scholarship program and the public 4th of July fireworks show. COVID-19 requirements may apply.

The 5K is a mostly flat, one-loop trail that travels through wooded areas of the park and passes park features such as the SK Skate Park, Casey's Batting Cage, the kids playground, and Live Steamer trains. The 1-mile course is a flat, one-loop route that runs through wooded areas and adjacent to park fields and the Horseshoe area.
Preregistration fees are $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 mile. Day-of-race registration is listed as $35 (cash or check only). Prices increase in mid-June 2026: the 5K price increases after June 18, 2026, and the 1-mile price increases after June 17, 2026. T-shirts are available for an additional cost while supplies last ($25 preregistration, $30 day of race). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
