Hone Quarry 40 Miler

The Hone Quarry Ultra is a challenging 40-mile trail endurance race set in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley, starting and finishing at Briery Branch. Participants will navigate through the George Washington National Forest, experiencing stunning landscapes, including cliffs, meadows, and waterfalls, while tackling approximately 8,000 feet of elevation gain. The course features a mix of single-track trails and scenic vistas, with several aid stations along the way. Limited to 125 runners, the event offers podium prizes for the top finishers and has a generous cutoff time of 13 hours and 15 minutes. Registration is available until mid-March 2025.
